New York, March 5, 2016 – Arise News, owned by Publisher of THISDAY Newspapers, based in Nigeria has resumed transmission.
The channel which ran on channel 416 on Digital Satellite Television, DStv resumed transmission after a temporary break few hours ago.
Arise channel operates from the US with offices in London and South Africa.
Obaigbena launched two television stations, Arise News and Arise 360 in February 2013. The publisher who made the announcement in Lagos said Arise News will broadcast core news while Arise 360 will take care of entertainment and lifestyle.
He said the stations will broadcast live from four cities, Lagos, London, New York and Johannesburg.
