Couples receive blessing from bride's parents





Nigeria, February 07, 2016 – Chief Executive Officer of In2Brands, Mr. Omorhode Wilbert Ukudolo is no doubt a very happy person. He is having every reason to thank God for the gift in Chinyenum Akpati, the lovely lady, he has loved from a far but chose to consummate the relationship in a traditional wedlock on Saturday, February 6th, 2016.

It was a grand occasion that brought the two families together faraway in Delta State.
It was a traditional marriage hosted in the Okpala-Ukwu Palace, Umutu, Delta State.
Umutu is situated in Umukwata Kingdom and is less than one kilometre from Umunomba and Ubiaroko, all in Delta State, Nigeria.

The ceremony gave the two families insight into the two cultures, the Okpe (Urhobo) and the people of Umutu(Delta Ibo) who are being brought together as husband and wife.

Although, the requirements for marriage, are different, but the same custom hold sway.
The bride is ushered into the waiting hands of the groom and his family after exchange of pleasantries and the usual introduction, followed by prayers and formal handover of the bride.




The couples were later ushered into a grand reception by a live band branded by the telecommunication giant, MTN at Umutu Town hall. It was such a lovely evening, filled with lots of merriments that the bride, groom will never forget.
