January 30, 2016 – Burna boy has been officially unveiled as a brand ambassador for Martell Cognac, at a party held at Spice Route, Victoria Island on January 29th, 2016. He was all smiles at the event, happily taking photos with excited fans.
The Spaceship Entertainment artiste first made the announcement a month ago via Instagram, posting: “1715 We The Martell Cartel! Say hello to your official Martell Ambassador. 2016 has already begun”.
Sabi boy, as he is often called, has been on a roll for the last few months, and he has kept up the momentum. He released his sophomore album last November just as he got a feature on popular New York-based music magazine, The Fader.
He also enjoyed an excellent December, delivering stellar performances throughout the festive period in true Burna style. Also, less than two weeks ago, he released a spanking new video for his album’s 10th track and fan favourite; ‘Jealousy’.
