January 21, 2016 – 2Face Idibia who recently adopted 2Baba as his official name is full of praise for Dammy Krane and Wizkid reported to be at loggerhead with each other for quickly putting the matter behind.
2baba, who is currently on a media tour to promote his new single; “CodedTinz”, spoke on ‘Make Una Wake Up with Yaw’ on Cool FM.
He said he was really disappointed since both of them are his people.
“Dammy and Wiz have been good friends; but I am glad they quickly put it all behind them and made peace.
“Inasmuch as it is very bad to jack another man’s property, it is also your responsibility to protect your property,” he added.
Asked about his recent official name change, he pointed out that he is still the same person; Innocent Idibia, adding that the change of name would probably not come as a surprise because a lot of people have been calling him ‘2Baba’ for a long time now.
He further said that it was only right to officially adopt the name 2Baba as he is now more mature, a “Baba”(father) and also chief (Tafidan Kudandan in Kaduna).
