UNILEVER STAKES $200,000 FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

November 6, 2015 – In partnership with Unilever and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Ashoka Changemakers has launched the Sustainable Living Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2015.

The award which has a prize tag of $200,000(about N4.3 million) provides an opportunity for young social entrepreneurs (18-35 years old) with innovative and scaleable technologies or initiatives that are contributing to one or more of the eight Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

The goals are “No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Responsible Consumption and Production, and Climate Action”.

“Working with Cambridge Institute for Sustainability, Leadership and Ashoka, Unilever is offering $ 200,000 of funding and customised support as part of the 2015 Sustainable Living Young Entrepreneures Award”, it said in a statement .
