November 2, 2015 – Swiss professional tennis player, Roger Federer on Sunday defeated reigning champion, Rafa Nadal.
Federer who is currently rated No.2 in the world by Association of Tennis Professionals, beat the champion 6 -3, 5-7, 6-3 to win the Swiss Indoor Basel, Men’s single.
Federer is regarded as the greatest tennis player of all time having won 17 grand slams (singles)
Playing his 12th final in his home town, Federer survived a break in his opening service game before grabbing the upper hand.
