November 10, 2015 – President Muhammadu Buhari will tomorrow, Wednesday swear in the 37 ministers who have been screened and approved by the Senate. The President will thereafter inaugurate the new Federal Executive Council, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said in a statement.
He said the swearing-in ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 Hours and the ministers-designate are expected to be seated in the Council Chambers by 09:30 Hours at the latest”, he said.
He said that each minister-designate can only be accompanied to the swearing-in ceremony by a maximum of two guests.
Among those to be sworn in are former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, former governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, Kayode Fayemi- (Ekiti), Abdulrahman Dambazau- (Kano), Aisha Alhassan – (Taraba), Ogbonaya Onu- (Ebonyi), Kemi Adeosun – (Ogun), Abubakar Malami – (Kebbi), Sen Hadi Sirika – (Katsina), Barr. Adebayo Shittu – (Oyo), Suleiman Adam – (Jigawa) Solomon Dalong – (Plateau) and Ibe Kachikwu – (Delta).
Others are Osagie Ehanire – (Edo),Audu Ogbeh – (Benue), Udo Udo Udoma – (Akwa Ibom), Lai Mohammed – (Kwara), Ahmed Isa Ibeto – (Niger), Amina Mohammed – (Gombe), Ibrahim Usman Jibril – (Nasarawa), Hajia Khadija Bukar Ibrahim- (Yobe), Cladius Omoleye Daramola (Ondo), Prof Anthony Onwuka (Imo), Geoffrey Onyema (Enugu), Dan Ali (Zamfara), Barr James Ocholi (Kogi),Zainab Ahmed (Kaduna), Okechukwu Enelamah (Abia), Muhammadu Bello (Adamawa), Mustapha Baba Shehuri (Bornu), Aisha Abubakar, Heineken Lokpobiri (Bayelsa), Adamu Adamu (Bauchi), Isaac Adewole (Osun) Abubakar Bawa Bwari (Niger) and Pastor Usani Uguru (Cross River).
