Siasia invites 30 players for Nations Cup

October 09, 2015 – Head Coach of the U-23 National Team, Samson Siasia has invited 30 players to camp in preparation for the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal.

The competition kicks off in November.

Among those invited are goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel, defender Chima Akas, midfielder Kingsley Sokari and strikers Christian Pyagbara and Oghenekaro Etebo.

Others are Daniel Emmanuel (Enugu Rangers), Yusuf Mohammed (Kano Pillars) Erhun Obanor (Abia Warriors), Segun Oduduwa (Nath Boys), Sincere Seth (Rhapsody FC), Ndifreke Effiong (Abia Warriors) Chima Akas (Sharks FC) Usman Mohammed (FC Taraba), Godspower Effiong (Kano Pillars) Daniel Etor (Enyimba FC) Etebo Oghenekaro (Warri Wolves) Tiongoli Tonbara (Bayelsa United) Wanbe Godwin (Enugu Rangers) Austine Oladapo (FC IfeanyiUbah) and Semiu Laidi (Warri Wolves).

The rest are Kingsley Sokari (Enyimba FC) Christian Pyagbara (Sharks FC) Iroha Ebuka (Diamond FC) Qudus Suleiman (36 Lions) Yusuf Lawal (36 Lions) Adebayo Ajadi (36 Lions) Israel Emmanuel (Akwa United) Akinola Johnson (Freestan FC) Tochukwu Nnorom (Enugu Rangers) Chukwudi Esoze (Kwara United) Stanley Dimgba (Warri Wolves) Lucky Jimoh (36 Lions) Philip Johnson Effiong (Abia Comets) Ajabor Sunday(Freestan FC) and Charles Chukwudi (Plateau United).

Meanwhile, Siasia has ordered the invited players to report at the Serob Legacy Hotel, Wuye, Abuja on Sunday, 11th October, while training will commence on Monday 12th October 2015.

All the invited players are expected to arrive camp with their international passports.
