October 10, 2015 – Sassy radio presenter with Inspiration FM has dumped the station owned by  Chief Executive Officer of the now defunct, Intercontinental Bank, Erastus Akingbola.

We gathered exclusively that the pretty and soft spoken lady left the radio station in questionable circumstances.  The lady who has warmed her way into the hearts of millions with her talk shows, Sharing Life Issues and Safe Traffic on Wheel, recently went into partnership with Airtel Nigeria Limited for the talk show ‘Touching Lives with Airtel’ which currently runs on a television station against terms of her contract with the radio station.

We gathered the development did not go down well with the Head of Commercial, Mr. Olisa Obinna, who wrote a damning report indicting the pretty lady, forcing her to thrown in the trowel.

We gathered that the atmosphere in the department is boiling such that about five staff were recently sacked from the department.

A dependable source told Starconnectmedia that situation degenerated at RUXTON during management meeting that the chairman of the company expressed his worry about top staff leaving the radio station in drove.

Two years ago, an industry buff and A list presenter in the person of Dan Forster, who was Head of Programmes,  left the station for City FM.

Last year, the second best female presenter in the station, Miss Gloria Maduka dumped the station for Cool TV over issues relating to poor welfare.

Among those who have already left the radio station include Charlse B, Etoma Edu, Wale Scott and former Head of Department, Marketing and Engineering, better known as Chidinma and Peter respectively.

HOD Cool FM Radio, Mr. Charlse Supo Orija also joined Inspiration FM as Head, Department of Programmes, a position hitherto presided over by the sassy celebrity radio presenter, Mr. Dan Foster.

We reliably gathered that top staff of the organisation are also planning to resign but are silently watching development before they take the step.

When contacted, Mrs. Wana Udobang better known as Wana Wana on air said she was not sacked from the station against insinuation in certain quarters. She said she decided to resign to do her own thing.  She told our correspondent that she bears no grudge with the station and that she decided to pull out to do her own thing.

Chief Executive Officer Inspiration FM, Mr. Soni Irabor told our reporter that Udobang was not sacked but that she resigned from the station adding that the station will heartily welcome her if she wants to return.

He also denied reports that people are leaving the station in drove due to poor welfare package. “We’re just okay”, he told our correspondent.

He described rumoured sack of Udobang as nothing but gossip and distraction. “Please don’t allow such guess work, we don’t want any distractions”, he said.
