September 14, 2015 – Two most vocal chieftains of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and arrowheads of the Buhari/ Osinbajo Campaign Organisation have been shut out of the ministerial lists currently with Department of State Security Service (DSS).
Two musketeers, seen to be those who plotted and executed exit of the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan are conspicuously missing.
The two are former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola and former Governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi whom we gathered may have been excluded based on pending allegations of corruption leveled against them.
In Lagos State, there has been series of allegations against the former governor, who is accused of upgrading his personal website, www.tundefashola .com with the sum of N78.3 million and lavishing another N139 million on two boreholes in Ikeja, Lagos house as well as allegations of extramarital affairs.
In Rivers State, Amaechi and his wife have been accused of siphoning about N70 billion by Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom wike among other allegations. Also missing is the General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare who is seen to be above board.
According to Punch newspapers, those on the list are renowned Economist, Professor Patrick Utomi, former DG National Population Commission(NPC) Mr. Festus Odimegwu, a former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; Lagos lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), former DG Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okaru, as well as a former Chief of Army, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazu (retd.)
Also on the list is former Commissioner of Finance in Lagos State, Mr. Wale Edun; and a former National Legal Adviser to the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
