Lovely Bimbo Akintola makes 93 Days cast

September 11, 2015 – Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey and Bimbo Manuel were among the cast that were unveiled for ’93 Days’, a film that attempts to re-enact Nigeria’s bravery when the dread Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) entered Nigeria’s soil July 20,  2014 through the late American-Liberian, Patrick Sawyer.

But insight by the Late Stella Adadevoh Ameyo of First Consultant Hospital and forthrightness on the part of the Lagos State Government and the Federal Government soon made Nigeria a beautiful bride and consultant to many who were initially not willing to assist.

In just 93 days, Ebola was kicked out of the country, forcing the world, including America to send experts to study how Nigeria was able to cope with the disease in a cosmopolitan city like Lagos.

Hollywood actor, Danny Glover is playing  Dr. Benjamine Ohiare while pretty actress, Bimbo Akintola is playing the heroine, Stella Adadevoh Ameyo. Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey is playing the index case, Patrick Sawyer.

Somkele Inyamah Idhalama is playing the role of Ada Igonoh. Other film stars featuring in the film, which is expected to be blockbuster are Charles Okafor and Gideon Okeke.

The film is written by  Paul Rowlson while Steve Gokas is director.

93 Days is being shot by a highly talented crew from South Africa, UK and the US. Work started in August and should be completed by early October.

“Our aim is to create a feature film that will resonate with many people across the world particularly in Nigeria and its sub-region.  At its core, 93 Das is a tale of common humanity and just how much we can achieve when we stand united”, the writer said.
