August 10, 2015 – Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has sacked Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences, Mr. Akeem Adedeji less than two months after he was engaged to replace, Bayo Suleiman who handled the office for more than eight years.
No reason has been given for the sack but sources said it has to do with shady deals involving the office of the chairman.
So far, Ambode has already replaced the sacked Taskforce Chairman with one Olubukola Abey, a Superintendent of Police.
We gathered that most of the hoodlums who were arrested from Obalende and Oshodi and other areas have returned to their base and posing threats in the area.
The chairman who resumed in June failed to occupy office occupied by former chairman for fear of spiritual attack.
We gathered that jittery Adedeji who is always at event with his riffle drove alone to the Governor’s office when he was summoned and hit a pavement in the present of the governor.
