Ambode appoints Lateef Adisa GM MVAA

August 14, 2015 – The Governor of Lagos State Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the appointment of Mr. Lawal lateef Adisa as General Manager, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA).

Until his appointment, he was a director in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture.

An Indigine of Epe, Lawal was born on 9th of December, 1957 and attended Jubril Matin Memorial Grammar School,Abule –Ipori, Surulere between 1976-1978 and St Gregory College, Obalende, for his Advanced Level.

He then processed to the University of Ife(OAU) where he obtained post graduate Diploma (Financial Management). Upon completion, he proceeded to the United Nations Institute of Economic Planning and Development (IDEP), Darka-Senegal, where he obtained post graduate Diploma in Economic Planning and Development.

He also holds a certificate from Industrial Planning and Development in Africa and the United Nations Institute of Economic Planning and Development (IDEP) and a Master ‘s degree in Business Administration (Financial Management)from the Lagos University (LASU).

He is an active member of Nigerian Economic Society and Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD).

He started his career in the civil service in 1983 as Statistician Grade II and rose through the rank to the enviable post of a full-fledged director before his appointment as General Manager, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency.
