June 24, 2015 – Lagos State Government has said that the monthly environmental sanitation for the month of June, 2015 will hold June 27, 2015.
A press statement signed by Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Eng. Hakeem Ogunbambi said that the exercise will hold between 7 am and 10 am on Saturday.
He advised members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to stay away from the road during the duration of the exercise warning that any violators would be dealt with according to the law.
He called on residents to come out and clean their environment, stressing that cleanliness is next to godliness.
