April 12, 2015 – Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has been declared winner of the governorship election held Saturday in Enugu.
While announcing the result in Enugu,INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Hilary Edoga, said that Ugwuanyi polled 482,227 votes to defeat Mr. Okey Ezea of the All Progressive Congress(APC), who scored 43,839 votes.
Ugwuanyi won in all the 17 local government areas in the state.
