Keshi Signs Fresh Contract with NFF

April 21, 2015 – Coach of the Super Eagles,  Mr. Stephen Keshi has been reappointed as Head Coach of the Senior National Football Team, Super Eagles.

Keshi, (53) also signed a fresh two-year contract.  President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Pinnick was however absent at the signing ceremony in Abuja. He was represented by 1st Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi.

Terms of the two year contract were not made known to the media. Among those present at the ceremony were NFF Executive Committee Felix Anyansi-Agwu (chairman of the Technical and Development Committee), Alh. Yusuf Ahmed Fresh (vice-chairman of the Technical and Development Committee), Mrs Dilichukwu Onyedinma (chairman of the Women’s League), Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi (chairman of Finance Committee), Dr. Mohammed Sanusi (General Secretary), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme (Deputy General Secretary) and Mr. Adama Idris (Director of Marketing).

According to thenff.com Keshi won 64 caps for Nigeria at senior level over a period of 13 years, 11 of which he was captain of the team.
