Motorists had a terrific moment moving from Berger axis to Lagos Mainland and other area as the whole road was blocked,  leaving a lot of commuters stranded at various bus stops.

The traffic jam also spilled from the Lagos Ibadan expressway into Nurudeen Olowopopo, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way and into House of Assembly Way.

The CCN which distributed flyers, advanced 7 reasons why the INEC chairman must go. According to the group, over 5 million people are yet to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in the South West,  over 2.5  million in the South-South and   2 million in South-East while Jega claims to have recorded 90 percent distribution in the North where there is high level of insecurity.

The group also accused Jega of registering under age people in the North as well as foreign nationals from Chad, Niger Republic and Cameroun. “Over 1 million PVC have been recovered from them by security agents yet Jega could not give an explanation”, the group said.

“It is obvious that Jega is playing a well scripted northern agenda as he has positioned Northerners in the most sensitive INEC position”, the group alleged.

It also accused Jega of creating over 30,000 polling units now termed voting centres in the north against the south west. The group also alleged that INEC awarded contract for printing of sensitive INEC materials such as PVC and Ballot papers to foreign companies traced to APC leaders.

The group also accused INEC of plotting to create chaos and national unrest in Nigeria by insisting on holding elections on February 14 when he is aware that 34 percent of Nigerians mostly from the South West are yet to obtain their PVC.

The CCN thanked the 17 political parties that insisted on shifting the election and in the process saving Nigeria from anarchy.
