APC Leads in Ogun as INEC Releases Results in 10 LGs

INEC officials prepare for voting at Ivienagbor, Ojodu, Lagos after accreditation

March 29, 2015 – The All Progressive Congress(APC) is currently leading in results released so far by  the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in 10 local governments in Ogun State.

According to the results, APC won in 7 local governments while PDP won in the remaining three local government areas.

Results were released in Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta North, Odogboolu, Odeda, Imeko-Afon, Sagamu, Ijebu-Ode, Remo-North, Ewekoro and Ijebu North-East.

In Odeda Local government APC scored 11,102, while the PDP scored 4,456 out of 16, 152 votes cast. Seven hundred and seventy-five votes were voided.

In Imeko Afon Local Government APC scored 7,657, while the PDP scored 12,153 out of 20,466 votes cast, 1,122 votes were void.

In Sagamu Local Government, APC scored 15,761 while PDP scored 17,263. But in Ijebu Ode Local Government, APC scored 14,043 while the PDP scored 8,972. In Remo North Local Government, APC got 6,164 while PDP scored 9,278.

In Ewekoro Local Government, APC scored 9,626 votes while PDP scored 3,227. In Obafemi-Owode Local Government the APC raked in 15,207 while PDP scored 5,786. But in Ijebu North-East, APC scored 7,638 while PDP got 6,163.

In Odogboolu local government, APC scored 11,623 while PDP scored 11,405. In Abeokuta North local government APC scored 21,213 while PDP got just 5,742 votes.
