December 16, 2014 – Barrister Morayo Lebi, the Ondo South Senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2015 general election has promised unprecedented development for the district if he is elected.
Lebi told the reporters on Wednesday in Irele, Ondo State that the district is underdeveloped because right people are not at the helms of affairs.
Lebi floored his rival Dr. Femi Akingbola with 1, 261 votes against 156 to emerge winner at the senatorial primaries held in Ore recently.
Barrister Lebi added that people in the district needed people who are ready to effect change saying that they are tired of stories and inactiveness.
“I am in the corporate world but I joined politics for the emancipation of my people and to effect the needed changes for my district.
“The wind of change is blowing the nation now because this is what APC stands for and people believe in this. That is why they voted me in the primaries,’’ he said.
The lawyer, however urged his people to troop out enmasse and vote him in the 2015 general election promising not to disappoint them when he gets the mantle.
Ondo South comprises six Local Governments Areas namely Okitipupa, Irele, Ese Odo, Ilaje,Odigbo and Ile Oluji.
