November 3, 2014 – Not less than 10 governorship aspirants in Lagos State have picked nomination forms to enable them contest primaries of the All Progressive Congress(APC) coming up in November.
Our checks at the APC secretariat in Lagos State revealed that all the ten have paid N5 million for the form and another N500,000 for the indication of interest.
Those who have picked the form are former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Leke Pitan, Speaker Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, former Accountant General of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, aide to Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr, Tayo Ayinde, former Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Supo Shasore.
Others are Security Expert, Mr. Lanre Ope, former Commissioner for Special Duties, Dr. Tola Kasali, Commissioner for Transportation, Comrade Kayode Opeifa and Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon.
