PDP Makes U-turn, Prints More Presidential Nomination Forms, Extends Deadline

November 3, 2014 – The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has made a u-turn. The party which printed only one nomination form for President Goodluck Jonathan says it has printed more forms and called on all those who paid for nomination to come forward with proof of payment and collect the document.

The party making this decision after some members of the party paid for the Presidential nomination form but could not collect it since only one was printed for President Jonathan.

In a statement, Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh said the party has printed more forms including Presidential nomination form and called on all those interested who have paid for the form to come for it.
He also said the deadline has been extended to November 6th, 2014.

“All aspirants who paid for nomination forms, including the Presidential Form but yet to collect same, should come to the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja with verifiable evidence of payment for purposes of collection of their forms.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wishes to inform all aspirants to all positions for the 2015 general elections that the deadline for the purchase and collection of all nomination forms has been extended to Thursday, 6th November 2014.

“All aspirants who paid for nomination forms, including the Presidential Form but yet to collect same, should come to the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja with verifiable evidence of payment for purposes of collection of their forms.
