July 6, 2014 – Transformers which achieved unprecedented feat at the box office last week continued to maintain the led this week after making $36.4 million from 4,233 theatres where it made appearance in the US.
Tammy, a new film put together by Warner Brothers was the second most watched film at the weekend with sales put at $21.170 million after passing through 3, 465 cinema houses in United States. Deliver Us from Evil, which is just hitting the box office was number 3.
Put together by Screen Gems, the film made $9.5 million from the 3,049 viewing centres where it was exhibited in the US. With just $9.4 million, 22 Jump Street occupied number 4.
In the fifth position was the movie How to Train Your Dragon put together by Fox Pictures. The film made $8.750 from 3, 297 to make it into the top five films at the box office.
