The Lagos State Governor on Thursday shunned the Security Council meeting scheduled for Thursday to discuss issues of security brought about by recent bombings by radical Islamic Sect, Boko Haram and abduction of over 220 girls writing examination at the Girls Secondary School Chibok, Borno State.
It will be recalled that the All Progressive Governors(APC) had to postpone their congress to enable all the governors attend the extended security council meeting.
But the Lagos State governor rather travelled to far away London to attend the Emerging Market Investors Forum incidentally on a day that there was rumour of imminent attack by the sect on the Lagos Ibadan Express way.
The Emerging Market Investors Forum was also attended by the likes ofof America, Corporate Credit Research and Global Research, CEEMEA. The meeting focused on power, agriculture transportation and housing.
