Wikki Wallops Plateau, Lead Group ‘A’, Prime FC Sets Pace in Group ‘B’

Wikki Tourists hit visiting Plateau United by three goals to nil in the Week 5 encounter of the Nigeria National League (NNL) just as Bendel Insurance beat the hard fighting Shooting Stars of Ibadan by a lone goal at the weekend in Benin City.

With the huge win, Wikki has taken a good command of its own affairs as it concerns getting back to the Premier League cadre where it rightly belonged although the race to promotion is still very long.

Elsewhere, Prime FC’s one nil victory over Gateway of Abeokuta last weekend has catapulted the club to the top position with 10 points after Gabros FC of Nnewi and Shooting Stars lost their matches. They were on nine and seven points before the weekend fixtures.
