These are certainly not the best of times for Babatunde Omidina better known as Baba Suwe. The comic actor who has been in a running battle with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) says all his friends have run away from him.
He explained that filmmakers who use to patronize him for acting role are no longer giving him job.
He is attributing his predicament to the way NDLEA rubbished his image when he was held by the agency for ingesting drugs. Baba Suwe was arrested October 12, 2011 at the Muritala Mohammed Airport on his way to Paris and was detained for about 20 days.
He was awarded 25 million Naira by a Lagos High Court. But the judgment was upturned by Justice Rita Pemu of the Appeal Court, Lagos who ruled that the NDLEA has the power to keep Baba Suwe in custody while he is being investigated.
