Fast rising musical prodigy, Tiwa Savage, whose latest track, Eminado is receiving unprecedented airplay on radio stations has thrown caution to the wind, undermining her status as brand ambassador for MTN, Pepsi and Forte Oil.
The artiste whom many hitherto perceived as a very humble individual and an epitome of African woman seems to have allowed her sudden wealth based on several brand endorsement to see herself as an individual that is now above the law.
It was Saturday just by the junction bordering Eko Hotel and Suites where her vehicle was said to have beaten the traffic light, forcing the officer in charge drafted to the scene by the Victoria Island Police Division to flag her down.
Instead of humbling herself to acknowledge the mistake, apologize and perhaps disarm the policemen with her charming smiles, the strong woman of Mavin Record opted for the taboo by angrily removing the cap of the police officer, which amounts to disarming the officer.
She was reportedly arrested and whisked away for daring to humiliate and assault the policeman.
Although Group Publicist, Mavin Records, Terfa Tilley-Gyado has confirmed the incident, he is however yet to issue a statement on the incident.
