Not less than 22 people have been killed by H7N9 virus in China this year as officials take measures to curtail further spread of the disease.

Three families have contracted the H7N9 in Hangzhou, worst hit by the virus. So far, Chinese authority has closed live poultry markets.

Live poultry trading will be halted in cities in coastal Zhejiang province from February 15, and neighbouring Shanghai will stop trading for three months beginning on Friday.

China has confirmed 110 human H7N9 cases
