It was another sweet story at the Hollywood Box Office during the week with Hobit: The Desolation of Smaug leading other films in terms of gross sales. Nevertheless Thor: The Dark World is number 5 at the box office.

Put together for distribution by Buena Vista, the flick made $2.7 million after featuring in 2,264 theatres to make it to that position on the chart.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is number 4. Distributed by Lions Gate, the film made $13,150 million after putting up a show in 3,563 cinemas in the US to make it to that spot on the chart.

At number 3 is Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, put together by Lions Gate. The film made $16 million after putting up a show in 2,194 theatres in the US to make it to number 3. Frozen is number 2 at the Hollywood box office. W production of Buena Vista, Frozen made $22, 184 million after putting up a nice show in 3,716 theatres in the US to retain number 2 on the box office chart.

And then the film that grabbed the most attention of film viewers at the Box Office during the week was The Hobit: The Desolation of Smaug. Put together for distribution by Warner Brothers, the film made $73, 675 million after putting up a very good performance in 3,903 cinemas in the US to make it to number one position on the Hollywood Box office chart.
