A 13-MAN film advisory committee has been set up for the Nigerian Film Industry. They include former Chairman Nigerian Film Corporation, Mr. Brenda Shehu who is serving as chairman of the committee, Chief Tunde Oloyede, Mr. Mahmoud Alli Balogun, Chief Pete Edochie, Mr. Victor Okhai, Chief Osita Okeke and Prince Chuwang Pam. Others are Yakubu Jang, Alhaji Sani Muazu, Mrs. Lantana Ahmed, Mrs. Hanatu Dantong, Alhaji Ahmed Belli and Mr. Gideon Barde.

Speaking at the inauguration, Chairman Nigerian Film Corporation, Dr. Danjuma Dadu said it has become imperative and expedient to have an advisory body that will interface with policy and practitioners to forester synergy that will take Nollywood to greater height.

While responding, Shehu said the film industry is experiencing dynamic changes all fronts adding that it has nevertheless positioned itself as a critical player in the entertainment industry, the economy, culture and diplomacy.
