Just two days after the Ebraer 120 plane in the fleet of Associated Airline crashed in Lagos, killing at least 15 passengers, there was another air mishap on Saturday at the Kano International Airport, when one of the airlines in Kabo Fleet of Airlines conveying about 400 passengers suddenly lost its tyres while taxing to take off.

The plane which was scheduled to convey the travellers to Saudi Arabia for the annual pilgrimage immediately aborted the trip.

No life was lost, but the passengers were terrified by the incident especially when it is taking place about 48 hours after the Lagos crash. BBC Hausa Service reported that the 400 passengers were swiftly evacuated.
