Families, friends and professional colleagues of the late Photo Editor of Daily Newswatch Newspapers, Mr. Tunde Ogundeji wept profusely this morning as they watched their beloved father, husband and professional colleague, lying helpless in the white casket in his family compound at Abule-Egba.

They could not believe that it is the very agile and jovial Ogundeji that was lying helpless. But there was nothing they could have done except to wish him well until the resurrection and commiserate with those he has left behind. He was buried at Calvary House, his family compound, near Ile-Epo, at Abule-Egba.

Speaking before his burial, Chairman Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State chapter, Mr. Deji Elumoye described Ogundeji as a hardworking professional who was always in his office with his litany of awards adding that he was a good man and an easy going fellow. He said he spoke with him last Friday based on a project that they were working on and prayed that God should grant members of the family the strength to bear this great loss.
