THE BUTLER TAKES LEAD, MAKES $25 M AT BOX OFFICE

There was a slight decrease in the amount of money made by the highest selling film at the Box Office this week, compared with the figures churned out last week. Coming at number five this week is Planes. 

Packaged for distribution by Walt Disney, the film made a total sum of 13.14 million Dollars after featuring in 3,716 theatres around the world to make it to that position.

At number four is Kick-Ass2. Distributed by Universal Pictures, Kick-Ass2 made 13.568 million Dollars in 2,940 cinemas globally to make it to that position in the chart.  The film, Elysium is number three on the box office chart. Put together for distribution by Sony and Tristar, the film made 13.6 million Dollars at the box office after putting up an average showing in 3,284 cinemas worldwide to hit that position.

We‘re The Millers occupies the second position on the box office chart. Packaged for distribution by Warner Bros, the film made 17.78 million Dollars after having a good outing in 3,325 cinemas worldwide.  And then the film that made the highest figure at the box office for the week is The Butler. Distributed by TWC, The Butler,   which features Oprah Winfrey enriched  its distributor with the sum of 25 million Dollars during the week after putting up an impressive showing in 2,933 theatres all over the world to make it to the number one position.
