MUBI, Adamawa, Nigeria – An Improvised Explosive Device, IED has exploded in Mubi, Adamawa State, killing not less than 20 people and injuring many worshipers.
According to Aljazeera, the explosion occurred near mosque in the morning as followers were gathering for worship. “It was a devastating attack as people were gathering for Morning Prayer”, an eye witness said.
Police described the bomber as a teenager who targeted the mosque in renewed attacks by the Boko Haram.
