September 11, 2015 – Pregnancy related deaths are common phenomenon among teenagers in the northern part of Nigeria.

But  ‘Unspoken’, a feature film put together by Singing Tree Films in conjunction with Ford Foundation highlights the trend with the intention of influencing policy makers.

It is a drama based on the experience of two  teenage Nigerian girls from different background who have to experience sex the first time in different circumstances, leading to complication and serious negative effects on their physical and psychological well-being.

The drama which will be premiered  to a select audience in Lagos come September 30, 2015 will attempt to challenge existing practice with a view to bringing about new perception in policy makers as part of effort to eradicate the trend.
