SANAA, Yemen – The Yemeni Armed Forces, YAF has said its air defenses caused significant confusion for attacking Israeli fighter jets, forcing some combat formations to leave the Yemeni airspace before carrying out their attacks, adding that penetration into the dept was foiled.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree of YF spoke just as the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF said the Israeli Air Force continues to operate across all arenas in both offense and defense.
It noted that a short while ago, a strike on military infrastructure belonging to the Houthi terror regime at the Hudaydah Port in Yemen was completed.
It added that in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force struck more than 850 terror targets in Gaza City over the past week adding that with the entry of IDF troops, the Israeli Air Force is providing close support to the troops operating on the ground.
“In the northern arena, yesterday (Monday), the Israeli Air Force struck a Hezbollah terrorist in the Yater area and a Hezbollah command center in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon”.
