YEMEN – Yemeni President and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Mahdi Al-Mashat has announced the Yemeni support for Gaza will not stop but will be devastating, painful and at a level that will be unbearable for the Israeli enemy.
The President spoke following request from the United States for the Houthis to stop aggression against American ships in return for America to halt attack on Yemen.
According to him, there will be no retreat from supporting Gaza, no matter the cost, and that what has happened proves that ‘our strikes are painful and will continue’.
He added that the “israeli” aggression “proves to our people the correctness of their movement and struggle, and reassures them even more when they see that they are facing the vilest enemy humanity has ever known.
“Our response, Allah willing, will be devastating, painful, and at a level that will not be bearable for the “israeli” enemy”, he said, urging all zionists from now on: to stay in shelters or “leave immediately to your homelands, for your failed government will no longer be able to protect you”.
He said the aggressor will realize that the price they will pay is high, and “no aggression will deter us from our decision to support Gaza until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted”, he said.
Also speaking, Ansarallah spokesman, Mohammed Abdul Salam, to Al-Masirah said the position expressed today reflects the firmness of the Yemeni stance and came as a U.S. request through our brothers in Oman.
“We did not submit any request to the Americans; rather, we received requests and messages through the brothers in the Sultanate of Oman over the past weeks.
“The “israelis” are deeply disappointed after the American position, which tried to save face and avoid sinking in the mountains of Yemen.
“The Americans have cornered themselves by supporting the “israeli” enemy, and we have responded to them”, he said adding”Our position on the Palestinian cause and support for Gaza will not change.
“Our principled understanding with the Americans has no relation to our stance on supporting Gaza.
“The position issued by Trump reflects his views and attempts to bypass what he announced as goals such as eliminating capabilities and others.
“The truth is what we say and what was stated in the Omani Foreign Ministry’s statement.
“The guarantees for the agreement are the dark experience America went through in Yemen.
“The real guarantee is the position we adhered to and which our people upheld in their weekly demonstrations supporting Gaza”, he said, stressing that any aggression from any party, will be be delt with it.
“Whoever involves themselves in aggression against Yemen will bear the same consequences and losses suffered by the Americans.
“We advise everyone to turn towards supporting Gaza and delivering aid; this is the solution that ends problems in the region.
“Yemen’s stance in support of Gaza is a proof against other countries in the region.
“We express our thanks and appreciation for the position of our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman and their constructive role in establishing peace, security, and stability in the region”, he said.
