The figures dropped, rather drastically at the box office during the week after an impressive outing in the last two weeks. Nevertheless, Saving Mr. Banks is number 5 at the box office. A production of Buena Vista, Saving Mr. Banks made $9, 321,000 after making appearance in 2, 110 theatres to make it to that spot on the chart.

American Hustle is number 4. Put together for distribution by Sony Pictures, American Hustle made $19,100,000 after putting up a show in 2, 507 cinemas in the US to make it to number 4 on the Hollywood Box Office.

Frozen is number 3. A production of Buena Vista, Frozen made $19, 163,000 after featuring in 3, 540 theatres in the US alone to make it to that spot on the chart. At number 2 is Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. A production of Paramount Pictures, the film made $26,776,000 after making appearance in 3, 507 theatres in the US to make it to number 2 on the box office chart.

And then the film that attracted most of the film viewers at the US box office during the week was The Hobit: The Desolation of Smaug. A production of Warner Brothers, the film made $31,455,000 after putting up a show in 3, 928 theatres in the US to the lead the box office for the second time in two weeks.
