WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump has given a tall order to the Islamic Resistant Movement, Hamas to accept terms of his 20 point deal to end the war in Gaza or he will give his backing to Israel to destroy Hamas.
President Trump made the revelation at a press conference in Washington with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The war will end immediately if the proposal is accepted by Hamas.
Under the plan, Israel has agreed to the proposed plan and requires that 72 hours after Hamas accepts the deal, all captives in Gaza must be released and Israel will in turn release 250 Palestinians serving life sentence in Israel.
Under the deal, there will be a gradual withdrawal of Israeli Defence Forces from Gaza. Besides, members of Hamas that embrace peace will receive amnesty while those averse to it will be allowed to leave Gaza to countries will willing to receive them.
Besides, Gaza will not be governed by the Palestinian Authority, PA but by a technocrats that will bring a/bout peace between Israel and Palestine.
In addition, Gaza will be reconstructed by a Board of Peace(supervisory) to be headed by President Donald Trump, while Gaza will be administered by Tony Blair, the former British Prime Minister.
The deal also requires that the United Nations and all its agencies will be allowed to distribute aid in Gaza.
The deal also makes room for eventual emergence of the State of Palestine to exist side by side Israel.
There will be an international peace force in Gaza but Israel will retain security.
Netanyahu was pleased that there will be a tripartite body to be set up between US, Israel and Qatar for peace. Besides, PM Netanyahu also spoke with the Qatari PM and apologized for the attack adding the target of the attack was terrorists and he apologized for the death of the Qatari security official that was killed.
