MOSCOW – A private jet flying from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Russia has crashed, killing all ten passengers on board.
According to initial reports, the leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeni Prigozhin, who carried out a rebellion in Russia recently was one of the 10 people aboard the plane.
The private jet flying from Moscow to St Petersburg was said to have developed a problem and subsequently exploded in midair before getting to the ground.
We gathered that the eight bodies of the Embraer plane have been found at the crash site in Tver, emergency services told Ria Novosti.
Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin were among those who died in the plane, a Russian news media said, quoting Vladimir Rogov, representative of the administrator of the Zaporozhyze .
“ I just talked with outstanding musicians”, they confirmed the fact of the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utikin”, Rogov said.
