December 27, 2014 – Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida has endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan for another term of four years.
The former president showed his preference for Jonathan when the later paid him a courtesy call in Minna, Niger State. Speaking during the visit Babangida described Jonathan as a lover of Nigeria and called on Nigerians to lend their support to him in his re-election bid.
He said Jonathan loves and means well for the country adding that anyone who loves Nigeria should support his ambition to be re-elected the President.
Speaking to reporters Jonathan said he visited Babangida whom he described as a father to greet him on his return from medical trip abroad.
