LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 206 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 169, 884. But out of the 169, 884 confirmed cases, 164, 733 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 128 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3023 active cases of the virus.

There are now 191, 274, 788 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 4, 102, 509 patients have died, while 3, 678, 417,033 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States of America remains the most afflicted country , reporting 34, 163,973 all time cases, while 609, 463 patients have perished (39, 632 new cases and 259 deaths*) , followed by India, which has documented 31, 174, 322 all time infections and 414,482 deaths(30, 093 new cases and 374 deaths*) and India, which has reported 19, 391, 845 confirmed cases, while 542, 303 patients have perished(15, 271 new and 89 deaths*).
France has come up as the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 952, 303 all time infections, while 111, 715 patients have passed on(20, 380 new and 37 deaths*) followed by Russia, which has registered 5, 931, 925 confirmations, while 147, 457 lives have been taken by the virus(23, 234 new and 771 deaths*) and United Kingdom, which has documented 5, 542, 115 all time cases, while 129, 103 patients are no more(47, 268 new and 96 deaths*) .
Turkey has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 5, 537, 386 all time cases, while 50, 604 patients have died, followed by Argentina, which has documented 4, 769,142 confirmations and 101, 955 deaths(12, 764 new and 406 deaths*) and Colombia, which has reported 4, 655, 921 confirmed cases, while 116, 753 patients have died from the pandemic(16, 455 new and 446 deaths*) .
Italy remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 4, 293, 083 all time infections, while 127, 884 patients have been killed by the pandemic(3555 new and 10 deaths*) and South Africa now the 18th country most hit, reporting 2, 311, 232 confirmed cases, while 67, 676 lives have been wasted by the pandemic(8928 new 596 deaths*).
