UTURU, Abia, Nigeria – Front line Abia House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Honourable Emmanuel Uchenna Akaeme has promised to give responsive and quality representation if elected .
He charged party members to vote him and guard their votes in the forthcoming party primaries. He made the call while addressing executives of the party from Isuikwuato Local Government at his country home in Uturu, Abia state .
Akaeme who was the former President General, Uturu Development Association assured the delegates and the entire people of Isuikwuato of transparent, competent and responsive representation if elected to represent them at the Abia State House of Assembly.
He said he has prepared himself to serve the people with fear of God and diligence.
Responding, the state Assistant Organizing Secretary of the party, Mr Ihemegbulam Nwokocha Curtis, charged delegates to forge one front to ensure victory at the polls. He thanked members for their massive turnout during the interactive session. He also urged the party loyalists and members to moblise as the has game started .
Earlier in his speech, the Local Government Chairman of APGA in Isuikwuato, Mr Okoroafor Chukwudi praised Akaeme for his commitment and doggedness in his previous positions and assured him of their support.
Speaking on behalf of the audience, Mr Maduabuchi Nwachukwu, a former ward 7 Chairman in Isuikwuato LGA eulogised Akaeme for his achievements in the past and assured the people of a quality representation.
Many state officers of the party, including the state publicity secretary, Comrade Simeon Onyeje among other party stalwarts attended the meeting.
