LONDON, United Kingdom – The United Kingdom Home Office has alerted its citizens in Nigerian and those traveling to Nigeria of impending demonstration planned for Lagos, Abuja and major Nigerian cities.




The department issued the warning to enable citizens take precaution ahead of the demonstrations which has been planed my civil society groups.

“Demonstrations are planned in major cities across Nigeria including Abuja and Lagos on 6 February 2017”, the U.K Home office department said in an alert.

Although one of the arrowhead of the demonstrations, Mr. Tuface Idibia is reported to have pulled out of the demonstration, others who said he was just an ally in the planning have said the protest will go ahead as planned.

A lot of musicians including comedians have also thrown their weight behind the demonstrations against what they called bad governance.
