President ‘obliterates’ military targets on oil isle – and warns the rest could be NEXT
By SCM REPORTER
DONALD TRUMP has sent a terrifying “final warning” to Tehran after U.S. bombers flattened military installations on Iran’s most vital oil hub.
In a dramatic late-night “Truth” posted on social media, the U.S. President revealed he ordered a massive “wipeout” of every military target on Kharg Island—the strategic “crown jewel” that handles a staggering 90 per cent of Iran’s crude exports.
The President boasted that the raid was “one of the most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle East,” leaving the island’s defensive missile sites and radar stations in smouldering ruins.
In a move that sent shockwaves through global energy markets, Trump revealed he intentionally spared the actual oil terminals—for now.
”For reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island,” the President wrote. But he issued a chilling ultimatum: if Iran continues to block the Strait of Hormuz, he will “immediately reconsider.”
He added: “Iran has NO ability to defend anything that we want to attack—There is nothing they can do about it!”
The strike marks a massive escalation in the two-week-old conflict.
Oil Prices: Crude has already soared to nearly $120 a barrel.
The Threat: Iran has hit back, threatening to turn U.S.-linked energy facilities in the region into “piles of ashes.”
The Hub: Kharg Island is just 15 miles off the Iranian coast and is the lifeblood of the regime’s economy.
Experts say if Trump follows through on his threat to hit the oil pumps themselves, the global economy could face a “total meltdown.”
Why Kharg Island Matters
Kharg Island is the “beating heart” of Iran’s oil empire. While it is only about one-third the size of Manhattan, its importance to the world’s energy supply is gargantuan.
The 90% Rule: Almost all of Iran’s crude oil—the regime’s main source of cash—must pass through this tiny island before it can reach the sea.
Strategic Chokepoint: It sits near the Strait of Hormuz, where 20% of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) passes daily.
Military Fort: Because it is so vital, the island is normally protected by a ring of surface-to-air missiles and elite Revolutionary Guard units. According to President Trump, these “military targets” are now gone.
During the “Tanker War” of the 1980s, the island was a frequent target, but it has rarely seen a direct, large-scale strike by a superpower until now.
