TRUMP INSISTS on Iran talks… but warns ‘tough’ action if they fail
By SCM REPORTER
WASHINGTON DC – DONALD TRUMP has told Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu that he is doubling down on a “consummated” deal with Iran—insisting that high-stakes negotiations must continue despite tensions in the Middle East.
Following a three-hour private showdown at the White House on Wednesday, the President hailed the meeting as “VERY GOOD,” even as he admitted that the two leaders had not yet reached a final agreement on the path forward.
In a characteristic social media blast, the President made it clear he is not ready to walk away from the table just yet.
“THERE WAS NOTHING DEFINITIVE REACHED other than I insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a Deal can be consummated,” Trump declared.
The meeting—the seventh between the two leaders since Trump’s return to the Oval Office—comes at a critical junction. While Israel has expressed deep skepticism over a renewed pact, Trump is pushing for a “good deal” that would see an end to Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and its ballistic missile program.
But the President hasn’t taken his “big stick” off the table.
Sources say Trump remains prepared to pivot if diplomacy fails, hinting at the “consequences” for the Iranian regime if they refuse to play ball.
“We will just have to see what the outcome will be,” Trump warned, adding that if a deal CANNOT be reached, the U.S. remains ready to act.
The meeting follows secret, indirect talks between U.S. and Iranian officials in Oman last week. Both sides reported a “good start,” sparking hope for the first formal diplomatic resolution since the 2015 agreement was scrapped.
Bibi’s Demands: Netanyahu arrived in D.C. with an “urgent message,” reportedly presenting fresh intelligence on Iran’s military.
He is pushing Trump to expand the deal to include “no-go” zones, such as cutting off funding for proxy groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.
The Military Build-up: Trump isn’t relying on words alone.
The U.S. has massed a massive “armada” in the Middle East, including the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier group, as a reminder to Tehran that the “Midnight Hammer”—Trump’s term for military pressure—is always ready.
The Clock is Ticking: With a second round of U.S.-Iran talks expected as early as next week, the next few days will determine if the world sees a historic peace or a return to “very tough” action.
