November 7, 2015 – Governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja this afternoon sacked Taraba State Governor, Mr. Darius Ishaku who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
The tribunal ruled that Ishaku was inappropriately picked by the PDP. It however declared Aisha Alhassan of the All Progressive Congress(APC) as the duly elected governor of Taraba State. Details later
