TAMPA, FLORIDA – THE bloody cost of the war against Iran climbed last night as six US service members were confirmed killed in action.

In a harrowing update from US Central Command (CENTCOM), military chiefs revealed that the remains of two “missing” troops were pulled from the twisted wreckage of a facility obliterated in the opening salvos of the conflict.

The discovery brings the official American death toll to six as “Operation Epic Fury”—the massive US and Israeli blitz on the Iranian regime—enters a deadly new phase.

A spokesperson for CENTCOM confirmed that the identities of the fallen are being kept under wraps to allow grieving families 24 hours of “solemn privacy” before the names are released to the world.

”Major combat operations continue,” the military warned in a terse statement from their Florida HQ. “The situation remains fluid.”

The news comes as US and Israeli forces continue to pound targets across Iran following the sensational decapitation strike on Saturday that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The region exploded into full-scale war on February 28, 2026, when President Trump ordered “Operation Epic Fury” to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program and topple the regime.

Since the initial blitz, Iran has hit back with a storm of ballistic missiles and drones, targeting US bases and allies across Kuwait, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. The two recovered service members are believed to have been caught in these early retaliatory strikes.

While the Pentagon insists the mission is “ahead of schedule,” the rising body count serves as a grim reminder of the fierce resistance still being put up by the remnants of the Iranian military.

Under the smoke-filled skies of the Middle East, the message from Washington remains defiant: the mission will not stop until the regime’s “offensive teeth” are pulled.
