Toyin Ibitoye Dumps Channels for Super Eagles Job

[wysija_form id=”1″]March 17, 2015 – The Nigeria Football Federation today confirmed the appointments of Mr. Pascal Patrick (MON) and the independent sports broadcaster, Mr. Toyin Ibitoye into the backroom crew of the Senior National Football Team, Super Eagles.

With this appointment, Toyin Ibitoye ceases to be broadcaster on the stable of channels and other radio stations. Patrick, a former Nigeria international player, will resume as Team Coordinator, while Ibitoye will become the team’s Media Officer, with immediate effect.

Patrick, who is also vice chairman of the Bauchi State Football Association, replaces Emmanuel Attah, while Ibitoye, who has a postgraduate diploma in sports management from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, replaces Benjamin Alaiya, who has held the position since December 2011.

Godfirst Chike will also become the Equipment Manager, replacing Chidi Ngoka.
