IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – Chief Tony Okoroji has returned to Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) as Chairman. Okoroji who was chairman of COSON for over a decade recently steped down to run his own company and in the process paving way for Chairman, Now Muzik, Efe Omoregbe to emerge as chairman, COSON.




But Okoroji is now back and waxing very strong. He celebrated the New Year in Benin City where he was honouerd with a big church service at St Teresa Catholic Church which was attended by many of the heavy weights of the music industry in Edo State.

Receptions were held in his honour including those at the homes of music icon, Professor (Sir) Victor Uwaifo and the COSON Edo/Delta Consultant, Prince Biodun Eguakhide.

Chief Okoroji was also hosted by Prince S.B. Omo Lawal-Osula, Chief Arara of Benin Kingdom who presented him with a Certificate of Life Patronship of the Ancient Edo-Benin Cultural, Arts, Music & Tourism Forum Worldwide.
