KETU, Lagos, Nigeria – Television Continental, TVC , owned by National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sacked a total of 145 staff.
We gathered that they were sacked based on dwindling revenue to enable the company to remain afloat.
TVC, we gathered also closed down the international arm of the station, TVC International.
TV Continental is one of Nigeria’s top television station, noted for carving a niche for it self in news gathering and entertainment.
It started majorly as a news arm of the APC to counter propaganda from then ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
